Full Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessments

I am a qualified Specialist Teacher and Assessor with many years of experience in education, having worked as an English teacher, SENCo and Specialist Teacher.

Over the course of my 25 year career, I have developed a strong understanding of how literacy difficulties can affect learning, confidence and everyday life, and I am passionate about helping children, young people and families gain the clarity and support they need.

I hold a current Assessor‘s Practising Certificate and all of my reports meet current SASC standards. This means they are suitable for formal use, including applications such as Disabled Students‘ Allowance (DSA), should this be needed in future education. I am also an Associate Member of the Dyslexia Association (AMBDA).

My assessments are thorough, professional and carefully tailored to the individual. I believe it is important not only to identify areas of difficulty, but also to recognise strengths and explain clearly what the findings mean in practice. Above all, I want the assessment process to feel supportive, informative and positive.

My goal is to help each learner be better understood and to provide practical recommendations that make a real difference.
